TrainMyGame (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information in relation to your use of our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). This Policy complies with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and meets the requirements for publication on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
By using the TrainMyGame platform, you consent to the practices described herein. If you do not agree with this Policy, you should not use the Services.

Personal Information - Full name - Email address - Age/date of birth - Gender - Phone number - Athlete profile, statistics, and training goals
Coach-Specific Information - Government-issued ID (for verification) - Working With Children Check (WWCC) - Police clearance documentation
Payment and Transaction Data - Payment method (via Stripe) - Billing details - Subscription history - Commission tracking (Coach earnings)
App and Device Usage Data - Session activity and log data - IP address - Device type and operating system - App version and usage patterns
User Content - Uploaded videos, audio, images - Chat messages between athletes and coaches - In-app feedback and form entries
How We Collect Information
Directly from users during account registration or while using services
Automatically through Firebase, Google Analytics, and in-app tracking tools
From third-party platforms (e.g., Stripe, YouTube, Firebase Auth)
Use of Information
We use your information to: - Create and manage accounts - Facilitate secure payments and subscriptions - Store session history, messages, and content - Enhance, personalise, and troubleshoot the platform - Verify coaches’ identity and compliance with child safety requirements - Comply with our legal obligations
Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell or rent personal data. We may share your data with: - Stripe for secure payment processing - Firebase for app infrastructure and analytics - YouTube for media streaming of coach videos - Legal authorities if required by law.
All third parties are required to adhere to strict confidentiality and data handling standards.
Data Storage and Security
All data is stored in secure, encrypted databases via Google Cloud (Firebase). Protections include:
- Encryption at rest and in transit
- Role-based access control for staff
- 2-factor authentication for admin accounts
- Audit logging and breach detection.
Data Retention
We retain user data for as long as necessary for operational, legal, or tax purposes. This typically includes:
- Account information: up to 7 years post-deactivation
- Chat logs and session data: 5–7 years
- Verification documents: 7 years minimum
You may request early deletion of your data unless retention is required by law.
Children’s Privacy
If a user is under 18, we require verified parental or guardian consent. Users under 13 must have an account created or approved by a parent. We take additional steps to limit data visibility and ensure safety for minors.

- Financial loss or delays caused by third party services (e.g., Stripe, Firebase)
The platform is provided “as is” and we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. Users agree to use the platform at their own risk.
Third-Party Links and Services
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external services linked to our platform. You should review their policies (e.g., Stripe, YouTube).
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notifications or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
